Information for International Students

The University of Minnesota considers you an international applicant if you are not a United States citizen, permanent resident, or refugee, or if you need a visa to study in the United States.

International Student and Scholar Services will support you through the transition and any visa or paperwork issues.

The website, Passport to the University of Minnesota has information on applying and studying here as an international student. It also has stories from current international students about their lives and experiences at the University.
